Libya unrest: Rescued Britons flying home: "Dozens of Britons are being flown back to the UK as the government begins its evacuation of people stranded amid continued unrest in Libya.

A plane chartered by oil companies for employees has left Tripoli, with a government flight due to follow. Some 120 people were on the first flight.

The BBC has also learned a unit of British Special Forces is on standby to assist in a possible rescue of Britons.

Stranded Britons have criticised the government's response to the crisis."
